srvScripts Linux terminal: corresponding source code

This folder is the complete corresponding source for the software in the Linux image used by the srvScripts Linux
terminal at https://srvscripts.com/tools/linux-terminal/ (file srvscripts-linux-bzImage.bin), and for the SeaBIOS /
VGA BIOS binaries the emulator loads. Published 9 October 2026.

It is a Linux 6.12.51 kernel (bzImage) with an embedded initramfs, built with Buildroot 2025.02.7 for i686 with the
Bootlin x86-i686 musl stable 2024.05-1 external toolchain.

No network, by design: the kernel is built without networking (CONFIG_NET is not set, see config/linux.config), the
BusyBox build leaves out every network applet (config/busybox-nonet.config), and the emulator page gives the virtual
PC no network card. Nothing typed in the terminal can reach this website's server, its hosting or any other host.

                     project for seabios.bin and vgabios.bin (LGPL-3.0).
- FETCH.txt          upstream URL and SHA-256 of each large source archive in this folder.

To rebuild the image

  (copy the files from legal-info/sources/ into dl/ first to build without downloading)

The emulator itself is v86 (BSD-2-Clause, https://github.com/copy/v86) and the terminal is xterm.js (MIT,
https://github.com/xtermjs/xterm.js). Their licence files are next to them on the site.
