How it works

  1. Choose “Server work by the hour” on the Get it fixed page and describe the problem, including any event IDs or error codes.
  2. We confirm the scope by email and reply within one business day (within four business hours with priority start).
  3. You give us access the safe way: a temporary admin account you disable afterwards, a time-limited Microsoft 365 admin role, or a screen share you control.
  4. We do the work, recording the time in 15-minute steps, and stop before using more time than you bought.
  5. You get a written report: what we found, every setting and command we changed, and what we recommend next.

Rules that protect your environment

  • System state or VM snapshots are checked before risky changes such as schema, replication or Group Policy edits.
  • We use least-privilege roles in Microsoft 365 where a task allows it, and we never ask for your password by email.
  • Changes that could lock people out (Conditional Access, MFA, password policies) are tested on a pilot group or in report-only mode first.
  • Work outside the agreed scope only happens after you say yes.

Prefer to do it yourself?

Most of these jobs have a step-by-step guide: Group Policy not applying, dcdiag and repadmin health checks, account lockout source, Conditional Access baseline and VMware disk consolidation. The free AD health check report and Microsoft 365 MFA status report scripts give you the facts before you call anyone.

What the report looks like

Sample reportWindows Server and Microsoft 365 (hourly)Small office: 2 domain controllers, Microsoft 365 Business Standard

What we found

  • Group Policy not applying on new PCs: SYSVOL replication (DFSR) had stopped on DC2.
  • Users locked out daily: an old password saved in a mapped drive on one laptop.

What we changed

  • Restored DFSR replication and checked SYSVOL on both DCs.
  • Found the lockout source with event 4740 and 4625; removed the saved credential.
  • Turned on MFA for the 3 admin accounts in Microsoft 365.

Result

  • gpresult shows all policies applied; no lockouts in 7 days.
  • Time used: 2 hours 30 minutes.

What we recommend next

  • Plan Conditional Access for all users (quote included).

Frequently asked questions

Do you need domain admin rights?

Only when the job needs them. Many Microsoft 365 tasks work with a narrower role such as Exchange Administrator or Conditional Access Administrator. For on-premises AD we ask for a temporary account that you disable when the job is done.

Can you work over a screen share instead?

Yes. If you prefer not to create an account, we can guide you or work through a screen-sharing session you control. The time is billed the same way.

How many hours should I buy?

Plan for one to two hours. Buy one if you are unsure: the first hour covers the diagnosis, and we tell you how much more is needed before continuing. Unused time is refunded on request within 90 days, or kept as credit.

Do you handle Microsoft 365 licensing purchases?

We advise on which plan fits and set up what you already own. We do not resell Microsoft licences.

Do you offer emergency support?

Priority start (an extra $25) means we begin within four business hours. We do not offer a 24/7 emergency line.
