The AI script generator writes complete admin scripts from a plain-English description. Tell it what the script should do and where it will run — AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, a cPanel or DirectAdmin server, or Windows Server — and it returns a script with strict error handling, settings at the top and a dry-run or -WhatIf path whenever it changes anything.

AI answers can be wrong. Read every command before you run it, and test on a non-production server first. Your input is sent to our AI provider (srvScripts AI) to write the answer. srvScripts does not log your input; the answer, which can quote it, is cached for 24 hours so a repeat question is answered instantly. See the privacy policy.

It is meant for the jobs admins script once and reuse forever: quota reports, cleanup of old backups, bulk user changes, log rotation checks and health reports.

How to use the AI script generator

  1. Pick the language: Bash, PowerShell or Python 3.
  2. Pick the target system so paths and commands match.
  3. Describe the task in a few sentences, including inputs, outputs and where results should go.
  4. Press Write script, read it, then run it with the dry-run flag first.

What you get

  • A complete script with set -euo pipefail (Bash) or StrictMode (PowerShell).
  • A dry-run or -WhatIf option for anything that changes files, users or services.
  • How to run it, what it changes and how to test it safely.

Worked example

Example: “List cPanel accounts using more than 90% of their disk quota and e-mail a report to ops@example.com.” The generator returns a Bash script that reads quotas through the cPanel API, sorts the accounts, formats a plain-text report and sends it with the system mailer, with a –dry-run flag that prints the report instead of sending it.

Tips for better answers

  • Be specific about limits: “older than 30 days”, “only accounts on this server”.
  • For recurring jobs, pair the result with the AI cron builder.
  • Browse the tested scripts in the srvScripts library before generating a new one.

Privacy and limits

Before anything is sent, srvScripts removes private keys, passwords, tokens and API keys it recognises. With the box ticked it also swaps public IP addresses and e-mail addresses for placeholders, which lowers the risk when you paste real logs. The masking is automatic and best effort: it can miss names, hostnames, keys or other customer details, so remove anything confidential before you paste. Your text goes to our AI provider only to write the answer. srvScripts does not save your input as a record of its own, but the masked input is sent to the AI provider to produce the answer, and the answer, which can quote parts of your input, is cached on our server for 24 hours so a repeat question is answered instantly, and is then deleted. The provider’s own API data terms apply to what it receives. Without an account you get 5 runs a day, a free account gets 15 and srvScripts Pro 200, with larger inputs.
