The AI config generator writes commented configuration files from your requirements and sizes the values for your hardware. Tell it the server (for example 4 vCPU and 8 GB RAM running 150 WordPress sites) and what you need, and it returns a config block plus where to put it, how to test it and how to roll back.

AI answers can be wrong. Read every command before you run it, and test on a non-production server first. Your input is sent to our AI provider (srvScripts AI) to write the answer. srvScripts does not log your input; the answer, which can quote it, is cached for 24 hours so a repeat question is answered instantly. See the privacy policy.

It covers Nginx server blocks, Apache virtual hosts, .htaccess for Apache and LiteSpeed, PHP-FPM pools, php.ini, MariaDB and MySQL tuning, Redis, sshd hardening, Postfix, logrotate and systemd units.

How to use the AI config generator

  1. Choose the configuration type.
  2. Enter the server details: CPU, RAM, OS and workload.
  3. List the requirements — domains, ports, limits, caching, uploads.
  4. Press Generate config, then test with the command it gives you before reloading.

What you get

  • A commented configuration in a code block, ready to copy.
  • Why the values were chosen for your hardware.
  • Where the file goes, the test command (nginx -t, apachectl configtest, php-fpm -t) and how to reload and roll back.

Worked example

Example: “PHP-FPM pool for a WooCommerce site on a 4 vCPU, 8 GB server with Redis.” The generator returns a pool file using pm = dynamic with worker counts based on the average PHP process size, sensible request_terminate_timeout and slowlog settings, and the php-fpm -t command to test it before reloading.

Privacy and limits

Before anything is sent, srvScripts removes private keys, passwords, tokens and API keys it recognises. With the box ticked it also swaps public IP addresses and e-mail addresses for placeholders, which lowers the risk when you paste real logs. The masking is automatic and best effort: it can miss names, hostnames, keys or other customer details, so remove anything confidential before you paste. Your text goes to our AI provider only to write the answer. srvScripts does not save your input as a record of its own, but the masked input is sent to the AI provider to produce the answer, and the answer, which can quote parts of your input, is cached on our server for 24 hours so a repeat question is answered instantly, and is then deleted. The provider’s own API data terms apply to what it receives. Without an account you get 5 runs a day, a free account gets 15 and srvScripts Pro 200, with larger inputs.

Frequently asked questions

Does the AI config generator know cPanel and DirectAdmin paths?

Yes — mention the control panel and it uses the include files and paths those panels expect, so updates do not overwrite your changes.

Are the tuning values final?

They are a sensible starting point for the hardware you describe. Watch memory and load after the change and adjust.

Will it include my passwords?

No. Secrets appear as CHANGE_ME placeholders.

Free website test

Is your website set up right?

Check SSL, security headers, redirects, robots.txt, sitemap, llms.txt and security.txt in one test. It takes about 30 seconds.
